Woodlands take a massive jump to staying in division one with a 3-2 win away from home against Warren Heath (26-29). Having played their last game Woodlands are now waiting on other results to see their fate whilst Warren have some catching up to do with 3 more games to play.
Willows Park also fighting for survival get 3 points at home against Island(36-30). Willows have one more game to play and its the reverse fixture against Island away, With Island safe and nothing to play for could that give Willows the sapce they need to get more points to save themselves.
Ramsden also nothing to play for now as they relegate Hadleigh beating them 5-0. Although they are above Warren Heath, Hadleigh have played all their games and are in the relegation zone so will be relegated to division 2. looks like losing 5-0 at home four times was their downfall.
Island with only pride to play for drop points at home to Willows Park who show resilience fighting for survival... 3-2 to Island as Willows finish the season on 26 points ensuring that Woodlands are safe. Island only have one more game to play and unless they pick up a massive score are going to finish the season on - shot difference in the top half of the table!!
Springhouse win division one!!! with 5 points at home against struggling Warren Heath they get enough points to be 6 points ahead with only their last game against Falcon left to play. Well done Springhouse! Warren heath though are now in trouble, they have the games in hand but need 9 points from their last 2 games or they will be playing in division 2 next season. Not impossible but they will need to be playing at their best!
Falcon do not play this week
Wickford start division 2 this week losing at home to Sanguine. Sanguine pick up crucial relegation battle points as they have no more games left to play, which now means Wickford are in trouble as they need points in their last game of the season away to East Hanningfield.
East Hanningfield back to winning ways away from home to Ramsden Robins who make history this season becoming the first and only club to get single digits in a game across both mats. Ramsden now hoping that East Hanningfield can replicate that form or just win in the last game to keep them in division two.
At the top of the table OCBC put pressure on SBC North by beating their SBC East team 5-0 to keep 2nd place alive. OCBC are behind by shots and need as many as they can, SBC East restricting them to just 11+ shots could be a win for their North team.
Wickford did not get the points they needed away at East Hanningfield, they lost 5-0 and with it are relegated to division three next season. They may look back at that Sanguine game and wish they got 5 more points there.
SBC North win their last home game against Whitehall in style as they rack up 37+ shots and with it most probably the promotion spot. Now 5 points ahead of OCBC with an extra 105 shots. something that has not happened all season now needs to happen twice and that's a team to win with 50+ shots in a match.
No more games this week but 2 matches next week to wrap up the division...
It's all over in division three
Hannakins Oaks keep the dream alive to stay in the division after beating Heron Park at home 5-0 who had nothing left to play for the season. That moved Hannakins 3 points clear but with not a better shot difference and need to hope that falcon do not get points.
Falcon beat 2nd place SWF at home to stay into Division three and relegate Hannakins Oak. they win 5-0 and stay alive by 2 points thanks to a sturdy home form picking up 26 points at home and only 5 away. SWF miss out on being crowned champions and hand that title to Hadleigh Gold
Courage end the season with a win over Canvey (3-2) and hit the records books this season restricting the opposition to only 1 shot in the match winning 29-01 on one mat. Well done courage but its still division four for you next season. Canvey only pick up 2 points in the last three games of the season missing out on that promotion..
Hadleigh already crowned champions with SWF losing, end the season with a draw against Whitehall Wasps at home, the first points they have dropped at home all season. Whitehall already made it safe last week but will be happy picking up 32 shots at Hadleigh
It's all over in division four, and what a tight season it was!
CIFC Swans missed the chance to secure survival after dropping points at home to GPM Eagles. Leaving a tall order for stingers to survive though 5 points in front with and extra 28+ shots. GPM already down will be happy getting some points in their last game before going to division five next season.
SBC West only needed 2 points to secure promotion and 3 points to be crowned champions as Basildon had no more games left to play after losing 5-0 to Basildon last week. However, Whitehall Bees made a play for promotion beating SBC west at home 5-0 and moving themselves into 2nd place with only one game in the division to play. SBC West will be gutted as that meant they lost out on promotion by a point But this result will have Basildon jumping for joy as they have now secured promotion into division three!
Could the bees hang on and could their teammates do them a favour... Nope. PML are crowned Champions as they win 5-0 and go top of the table by a single point! The unlikely winners take over 3 places. Only 2 points separate the top 4 places in this division and has a dramatic end! For Whitehall Stingers though they wanted 5 points and a bunch f shots to survive and now are relegated to division four next season. 25 points is a decent score for a division with 7 teams. I'm sure they will bounce back up.
Basildon did not play but gain promotion!
With CIFC Mallards not playing this week and already promoted they are sitting happy in second place until...
Hadleigh Silver beat Wickford at home 5-0 and by 25 shots (38-12) dropping Wickford out of top spot and into second place (still promoted). They lose the title by just 2 shots having a 23 shot buffer going into their last game. They did not even need to win the game but they needed to keep the shots down. unlucky Wickford. Hadleigh now also move above Galleywood into 5th spot which would be crucial if it was not the bottom division. well done Hadleigh
Castle Point win their last game against already confirmed bottom of the table SBC South 5-0 and miss out on promotion by 3 points. not a bad first season for them... SBC South struggled away from home this season only picking up 2 points but have something to work on for next season now.
Ramsden Wrens finsh their season with a good win against Galleywood 5-0, they finish on 33 points and will be looking at missed points at home against Wickford B last week, 3 points in that game would of given them promotion. Galleywood finishing up on 24 respectable points and will go again next season in division5 too.
