League Games Report - Week Thirteen

Falcon fail to keep the pressure on Springhouse as they drop home points to now third place Island winning 3-2. If Island had of got 5 points then they would have had an outside chance of second, but now Falcon secure second spot and is likely where they will stay. One more game for Falcon and its against springhouse!

Willows not expecting anything against Springhouse and they did not disappoint as Springhouse get the full 5 points and go top of the table with a game in hand. They play "fighting for their lives" warren heath next which could be tricky but if they get 5 points there they will be champions ahead of their top of the table clash with Falcon last.  Willows still have 2 games left to play but both against third place Island, they need points to survive!

Woodlands win a tight game 3-2 (30-24)against Hadleigh who both are fighting for survival, that 2 points moves Hadleigh out the relegation zone on shots! and there is only 3 in it!!! that could be enough for Hadleigh but they do have an away game against Ramsden to win or at least keep the shots down! Woodlands 3 points clear now and have much better shots, they should have won survival in that game ! but they have a relegation battle against Warren to confirm it next week!

Warren and Ramsden did not play. 

a few re-arranged games this week as people catch up on games.

Wickford drop 5 points against Whitehall! shock result as Whitehall  only have picked up 1 point away all season... that could have just saved Whitehall now! as Wickford now need points.

Whitehall play again at home against East Hanningfield and they get a mat! East Hanningfield could not hold out for that long and finally drop points away from home. Well done Whitehall on their 12-11 victory (16-39 overall). That's safe for Whitehall now confirmed! 

Sanguine and SBC E in trouble but it is Sanguine that save themselves, a decent 33 - 20 win see them out the drop zone and all but confirmed from a relegation on SBC E, too little too late for SBC E. Sanguine now need points in their last game!

East Hanningfield back to winning ways and have their biggest home win of the season 54-13 against now relegated confirmed SBC East. not the worst shot difference overall for SBC but the worst points and that's what matters. 

SBC North looking to all but secure second but only win 3-2 against Ramsden who get a vital 2 points with a 14 - 13 win on one mat. SBC North 5 points clear with the same games at OCBC but they still need to play EH! could OCBC come back and nab second in the dying Deaths of the season!  Ramsden needed a vital 2 points as they now have 2 games left against EH and going from promotion OCBC so that 2 points might have just saved them!

OCBC did not play.

SWF Beat Canvey Blue first in the week and get the 5 points! they officially secure promotion for themselves and also Hadleigh Gold. Well done to you who are now playing in division two next year! Unlucky Canvey, hope to see you back and gunning for that second division next year.

Hannakins get a big point against league leaders Hadleigh at home only losing a tight game 29-33 (1-4). with only one game left home against Heron park they could just survive! Hadleigh though could have been crowned champions but miss out by a point. they now need to win their home game against whitehall to make it official, they only need a point! 

Heron park playing for pride as Canvey do not do them a favour as they beat Whitehall wasps 5-0 who also are now in limbo cannot go up or down. 

Falcon and Courage do not play.

SBC West might have just won the league as they beat fellow title runners Basildon 5-0 and only 25-23!! they won by a point on each mat to put them in the driving seat. 

PML Smash bottom of the table GPM 41-15 to ensure that nobody has won promotion yet and keeping the table going until the last day of the season. its all very tight!!! PML need to beat stingers on the last game 5-0 and hope someone slips up.

Down the other end Whitehall Stingers get a narrow win and an extra bonus point 3-2 (21-20) against fellow relegation troublesome CIFC Swans. only 2 Points between them with only one game to go! its tight down here too!! it looks like it wont be enough though as CIFC play bottom and struggling GPM in the last game and they only need 1 mat and a bonus.

Basildon fall off a cliff in their last game of the season! they drop 3 points at home to Whitehall Bees! This now opens up the door for PML who now need a win to move them ahead and get promoted! a big game for Bees too whilst it does not secure them safety it really helps as their last game of the season is against SBC West going for the title!!

excluding GPM already relegated all 6 teams have something to play for as 3  are going for promotion and 3 are fighting for survival. going to be great games to watch!
